Weller Pottery Rare Reticulated Arts & Crafts Vase

  
This unusual Weller Pottery reticulated vase stands 5.25" tall by 4" in diameter. It is finished in a leather-like, speckled red glaze with three larger triangular "windows" and within each triangle are fifteen smaller triangles. Overall crazing, there is a small repair at the base that is very hard to photograph. Marks include the Weller Louwelsa circular mark, 238, paper label "The Rare The Unusual The Seldom Seen Weller Pottery Museum Exhibition" and the same vase can be seen on page 195, plate 223 in Weller Pottery The Rare, The Unusual, The Seldom Seen by Linda Carrigan/Allan Wunsch.
