Vintage Zanesville Stoneware Matte Green Vase. Turned #519 Arts Crafts Mission
This listing is for this vintage piece of pottery by The Zanesville Stoneware Co. This is a very nice example of Shape #519. Shape # is impressed on the base.
It is a great form with the lip at the top and the visible turn marks on the body of the vase. The turn marks are very pronounced inside and out.It has a very good matte green glaze with very few of the usual dimples and marks found on these pieces. For Zanesville it is a true matte green colored glaze. The height is 9 inches and the widest diameter is about 5 3/4 inches. The base shows the very common marks when it was pulled from the kiln.
