Vintage 1910-20 era 12 BELGIUM ARTS & CRAFTS MAJOLICA Art Pottery Vase

  

This early 1900s Arts and Crafts Majolica vase made in Belgium is in excellent condition. Its Art Nouveau style pattern is chunky and earthy, and reminiscent of Lilly pads. There are the usual glaze skips and pops that occur with this production technique but there are no dings or cracks. The glaze is a glorious blue, green and fire brick colour with the finish etched to outline the design.

The piece has a foot width of 4", a mouth opening of 3", its height is 12 and is 6.5 inches at its widest. This is a very collectible design.
