Van Briggle Pottery Dated 1915 Shape #165 Arts & Crafts Spade Leaves

  
We are offering a vintage Van Briggle Pottery Arts & Crafts style vase, shape #165, designed in 1903, this piece was made in and dated 1915, spade leaves in relief are complimented by a shaded turquoise glaze. Bottom bears the Van Briggle logo and the stamped date 1915, two numerals on each side of logo.

Excellent condition; no chips, cracks or repairs. Stands 8 3/4" tall x 6" across at the widest.

Please study the photos as they are a part of the description. Offered here fresh out of an estate for the first time. What you see on the rim is some roughness under the glaze that occured in the making.

There are also a couple of tiny brown spots in the glaze on one side - barely worth mentioning but for accuracy's sake (see photo #7). I just now noticed an impressed numeral "1" on the bottom, opposite the logo and date marks. Lots of interest in this one! We do not falsify claim forms.
