Here is a very nice Van Briggle Pottery vase in their signature mulberry red or Persian rose glaze with dark blue accents. It has a design of daisy like flowers above ribbed pointy leaves 5 times around from the bottom to the top of the vase. This is shape number 661 which was designed in 1907 by Anne Gregory Van Briggle and called "stylized leaves and flowers" in the shape book. It measures 7 1/4 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. It is marked with the firm's double AA box mark and Van Briggle Colo. Probably from the 1930's. A good Arts & Crafts design.
