Here is a really nice, early. Van Briggle Pottery floral vase in a two toned matte white glaze with green highlights on their chocolate clay.
It is number 631 in the shape book, designed in 1907 by Anne Gregory Van Briggle with design name "spade-shaped leaves and panels". It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws, just some grinding chips to the glaze at the foot.
It measures 5 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the firm's double AA box mark and other indecipherable marks. A great glaze on an early, dated vase from the famous Colorado Springs art pottery.
