Here is a very nice, early Van Briggle Pottery vase with a deep matte blue glaze and a curdled blue green blush over the trefoil flowers. It is number 166 in the shape book, designed in 1903 (height unknown) and the design is called "Spiderwort and leaves". It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. It measures 12 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest.
