Teco Pottery matte green 4 curled leaf handle vase shape 185 Arts& Crafts Gates

  

Here is a very nice antique Teco Pottery vase with four leaf or petal like curling handles. It is shape number 185 in the Teco catalog. It has the famous Teco matte green signature glaze with good charcoaling. It measures 6 7/8 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches across the handles. There is restoration to a 3/4 chip under the lip, but is otherwise in excellent condition with no cracks or firing flaws.

Signed three times on the bottom with the firm's die-stamped mark. An excellent piece of Arts & Crafts prairie school art pottery from the famous Terra Cotta Illinois company.
