Here is a very nice Teco Pottery vase with two buttress handles designed by W. It is shape number 426 in the Teco catalog.

It has the famous Teco matte green glaze that highlights nicely on the edges with some darkness in the recess'. It measures 3 7/8 inches in height and 4 inches wide across the buttress'. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws, just some water deposits on the inside, and a tiny pit in the clay inside the rim (see 4th picture). Signed twice under the glaze with the firm's die-stamped mark. A quintessential form by the famous Arts & Crafts Prairie School Art Pottery.
