Sweet Antique Rookwood Pottery Arts Crafts Mini Cabinet Bowl XXI 1921 #2163E

  
This piece has three rounded handles that roll out from the collared rim. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. The piece is 2" tall and 4-3/4" wide at the handles. The base of the pottery is stamped with the Rookwood Pottery flame mark, the shape number 2163E and the production year XXI (1921). Grinding nicks are visible on the base rim edge. This gorgeous glaze is a matte, light caramel-brown or tan drip glaze that exudes great Mission style. Glaze drips are visible just inside the top rim, and there are glaze pinholes on the piece.

The bowl is very clean both inside and out, but shows some scratches, stray marks and scuffing from gentle use. Check out all 9 photos! This special little cabinet piece would be perfect for any Rookwood or American art pottery collector.
