Produced by the Van Briggle pottery company of Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1915, actually the mark indicates this piece was produced late in that year. There is no information on who designed this mold number 829, Flowers and Banding, which was first introduced in 1910.
Im not sure the actual name of the color, it resembles a forest green hue. 5 1/4 tall and wide in the middle of the pot. The mold is fantastic as is the evenness of the glaze. There is no damage or repair noted and it is clean both inside and out. I will mention for accuracy sake on the bottom there is a small area of a glaze skip adjacent to the factory ground ring where excess glaze from firing was removed.
It is visible in one of the pictures. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
All reasonable offers will be considered. Please check back to my listing as often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.
