This jardinière vase also has a green waterproofing glaze inside for those of you that want to use this to display flowers. This jardinière is considered to be in very good to excellent condition as there are no cracks, or major chips.
There is a shallow glaze nick on the underside and considered insignificant. There are the usual imperfections that are common with this line such as glaze pin pops. The piece is signed on the bottom with Roseville's early "RV" blue ink stamp cipher in small print. The Roseville catalog shows this vase is shape number 606/6. The Mostique line has more than 80 different shape numbers and was very extremely popular. This pattern works extremely well with a Mission, Arts and Crafts or Southwestern style decor.This line was created by Roseville Pottery to pay tribute or Homage to the Native American Indians. This piece was made circa 1915 and it is amazing it has survived over 100 years.
