Here is a very nice, rare Rookwood Pottery Z series carved matte vase with a geometric band. Deeply carved by Ruben Earl Menzel and glazed in nicely thinning matte green glaze.

It measures 3 1/2 inches high and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. There are some in the making minor glaze slips and other indiscretions but it is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Die-stamped with the Rookwood RP mark, I for 1901, shape number 235Z, and an incised R.
