Here is a very nice Rookwood Pottery production vase with a horizontal band of scroll panels on the shoulder and covered in a matte yellow glaze with a brick red blush. It measures 6 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs.

Marked with the RP die-stamped mark, partially visible is XXIX for 1929, and shape number 2888. A good example of arts & crafts Rookwood production art pottery.
