Here is a really nice Rookwood Pottery production vase with a buttressed floral design in a matte green glaze with a brown blush which thins beautifully over the relief form. It measures 6 inches tall and 4 7/8 inchesin diameter at the widest.

It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Marked with the RP die-stamped mark, XXXVIII for 1938, and shape number 2380. A beautiful example of Rookwood's matte green production art pottery.
