Here is a very nice pair of Rookwood Pottery production candlesticks with sculptural form of entwined lotus buds and flowers under a glossy celadon green glaze. They measures 3 3/4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches point to point at the hexagonal base.
Marked with the RP die-stamp, XLVI for 1946, and shape number 2992, a William McDonald design. They are in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Good functional pieces of arts & crafts Rookwood from the mid century modern period.
