Rookwood Pottery Orville Hicks carved matte green tree vase Arts & Crafts'07

  
Here is a very nice Rookwood Pottery carved matte vase with trees. Deeply carved and sculpted by Orville Hicks and glazed in two tones of matte green glaze with white berries on one side. It measures 6 1/2 inches high and 3 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest.

It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, just one tiny scratch near the foot. Die-stamped with the Rookwood RP mark, VII for 1907, shape number 935E, and an incised conjoined OH for the artist. A beautiful piece of Arts & Crafts Rookwood by a hard to find artist.
