Here is a beautiful Rookwood Pottery wax matte vase by Margaret Helen McDonald. It has a design of purple flowers and green leaves with black outlines around the shoulder against a curdled matte green blue ground. It measures 8 1/2 inches tall and 4 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It's in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Marks include the firms die-stamped RP mark, XXVI for 1926, a conjoined MHM for the artist, and shape number 9251D. A good colorful example of decorated Rookwood Arts & Crafts ceramics.
