Here is a very nice Rookwood Pottery floral matte finish vellum vase decorated by Edward Timothy Hurley with branching sprays of white and red fruit tree or prunus flowers with green leaves on a shaded blue to yellow ground. It measures 7 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XLI for 1941, shape number 80C, and ETH for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, and no crazing, just an in the making glaze miss inside the rim but it's not x'd. A beautiful example of Rookwood vellum by a top rated artist.
