Here is a beautiful Rookwood Pottery scenic landscape vellum glaze plaque by Ed Diers. Titled "Mountain Stream" with the original label and frame. It depicts a mountain with trees on the edge of a river in a blue, green, white, and gray scene and a pale sky. The porcelain plaque measures 9 1/8 inches x 5 inches, framed 14 3/4" x 10 5/8".

Signed with the artist's cypher on the face and on the back with the RP die-stamp and XVIII for 1918. It is well painted and with good color, and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs and only moderate crazing. An excellent example of an arts & crafts Rookwood vellum plaque.
