Rookwood Pottery Arts And Crafts 10 Tall Vase 1923 Munson

  
Dated 1923, this Albert Cyrus Munson Rookwood Pottery vase, shape number 2379, stands approximately 10" tall, has an inside rim opening of 2.5", is 5.25" in diameter, and sits on a base that is 3.25" across. Beautifully finished in a very dark purple-blue almost black colored glaze, it is decorated with three large leaves extending almost the length of the vase and in between are three smaller veined leaves with thin stems. Large and impressive, in factory original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marks include the Rookwood Pottery "RP" factory logo, XXIII (1923) and shape 2379. This Arts and Crafts Rookwood vase will make a very nice addition to your pottery collection.
