Here is a nice and unusual Rookwood Pottery architectural tile of Art Nouveau stylized thistles with red flowers modeled in high relief. It measures 4 inches square and almost an inch thick.

There is a chip and a tiny nick to the leaves that has been colored in, not filled. No cracks or firing flaws. It is marked Rookwood Faience and the number 1217, Y, and a small 49.
