Rare Cowan Pottery Arts Crafts Rowfant Groundhog Candlestick Holder 1925 Green

  

This coveted and beautiful limited-edition sculpture was made by Cowan Pottery under commission from the Rowfant Club, a private men's club in Cleveland devoted to fine books, literature, and history. Each example bears hand-painted marks showing that only 165 were made, one for each member of the club. The form was designed by Frank Nelson Wilcox. Mint condition, without any nicks, chips, hairlines, or repairs.
