Here is a very nice Saturday Evening Girl's, Paul Revere Pottery mug. It has a landscape medallion with green trees, a lake, and a yellow sunset or sunrise sky. The body is banded in two-tone blue. Family provenance is as follows: this is from a set made by Lilly Shapiro for her friend Lillian (Levin) Lewis, sister of Stella (Levin) Kaye (who also received a dinner set on the occasion of her marriage) in the 1920s.

This piece is in great condition with only a very tiny chip to the rim, and no big chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws. It measures 3 1/4 inches high and 4 1/4 inches wide across the handle.

In 1923 the name Paul Revere Pottery was incorporated and after that date, pieces were marked with a die-stamped seal, or the ink-stamp like this is. A good piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
