PRP Saturday Evening Girls pottery 6 bowl rabbit in landscape arts & crafts

  
Here is a very nice Saturday Evening Girl's, Paul Revere Pottery cereal bowl. It has a crouching rabbit in a landscape medallion with green grass and a hill, and a yellow sunset or sunrise sky. The body is banded in two-tone blue. Family provenance is as follows: this is from a set made by Lilly Shapiro for her friend Lillian (Levin) Lewis, sister of Stella (Levin) Kaye (who also received a dinner set on the occasion of her marriage) in the 1920s. This piece is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws. It measures about 6 inches in diameter, and 1 5/8 inches high. In 1923 the name Paul Revere Pottery was incorporated and after that date pieces were marked with a die-stamped seal, or the ink-stamp like this is.
