Here is an nice Saturday Evening Girls, Paul Revere Pottery landscape medallion plate. It has semi matte glazes with tall green trees, grass, blue lake, and sunset sky with clouds against a banded two tone blue ground. When one of the girls got married, all the others got together and made a set of dishes as a wedding present. This was made for Celia Goodman (her married name was Stern) and was part of her wedding set.

Since most of the pieces were used by children, condition is often an issue, however this piece is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. It measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter and about 1/2 inch high. In 1923 the name Paul Revere Pottery was incorporated and after that date pieces were marked with a die-stamped seal, like this one, or the ink-stamp.

No decorator's mark but probably decorated by Fannie Levine like the rest of the set. A good piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
