This is a 1920s late Arts and Crafts-era Peters and Reed low footed tulip bowl, with their rare dragonfly pattern in an incredible, sumptuous matte blue glaze. The bowl has a lip and a deep basin, and is the perfect small size for display. The beautiful dragonfly motif is repeated three times around the side of the bowl, and adds amazing texture and emotion to this modest piece of art pottery. This bowl is in excellent condition with age-appropriate wear, with no signs of chipping or repair. There are a few areas of anomaly in texture/glazing that are products of the manufacturing process and not considered a flaw.

There is age-appropriate wear to the glaze overall, with minimal crazing but some signs of use on the interior and the underside. The bowl measures 4 1/4 inches wide in diameter at the mouth, and 2 1/4 deep to the bottom of the inside.

It stands 2 1/2 inches tall from table to lip. The diameter of the foot is 2 1/4 inches.
