Here is a beautiful Newcomb College Pottery gourd shaped vase in their signature matte blue and green glazes with a pink blush decorated with cascading maple wing seeds and leaves. It is well carved with good contrast and color. It measures 6 3/8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest.

It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, or firing flaws. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a conjoined HB for artist Henrietta Bailey, date code KP10 for 1919, and a conjoined JM for potter Joseph Meyer. An excellent example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts southern art pottery.
