Here is a beautiful Newcomb College Pottery overlapping leaf floral vase in their signature matte blue and pink glazes. It is well carved with good contrast and deep rich color.

It measures 4 5/8 inches tall and 4 1/16 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, or firing flaws. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a conjoined CC for artist Corrine Chalaron and date code MN 97 for 1922.

Indecipherable potter's mark, possibly an A for Vincent Axford. A really nice and unusual example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts southern art pottery.
