Well carved with good color, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. It measures about 8 inches high and 4 inches in diameter at the widest point.

Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a conjoined SI for decorator Sadie Irvine, potters mark JM for potter Joseph Meyer, and date code NE82 for 1923.
