Here is a beautiful Newcomb College Pottery scenic landscape vase in their signature matte blue green glazes. The full moon shows through the moss laden branching oak trees with a distant horizon in the background. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws.

It measures 4 3/4 inches high and 4 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest point. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, AA for decorator Aurelia Arbo, who worked there from 1930 - 40.

She sometimes used only one letter and with date code W28, it is from the mid 30's. A fine example of the quintessential southern art pottery.
