Here is a very nice Newcomb College Pottery bulbous vase decorated with a jonquil flower band at the shoulder in their signature matte blue and green glazes with pink and white flowers with yellowish centers. Well carved with good contrast and color, and a pleasing shape. It measures 5 7/8 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, or firing flaws. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a conjoined SI for artist Sadie Irvine, date code NU42 for 1924, and a conjoined JM for potter Joseph Meyer.
