Newcomb College Arts & Crafts Vase, Simpson, 1916

  
Dated 1916, this Anna Frances Simpson for Newcomb College vase, is 2.75" tall by almost 5" wide. Finished in the easily recognizable Newcomb blue colored glaze, it is decorated with white flowers, yellow stigma and green stems.

In excellent original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. As pictured, marks include the Newcomb "NC" stamp, IJ16 (1916), 261, 346? Simpson's cipher and JM Mr.
