This lovely vase is in excellent, near-perfect condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. I found a couple of spots where the glaze has a minor skip (base rim edge) and rub (top rim). This pottery is unmarked but most likely dates to the 1930's. I suspect it would have had a small paper label originally.
The vase is identified in the. Collector's Guide to Camark Pottery. Gifford as shape number 117. This piece is 4-1/2" tall, about 3-1/4" wide at the shoulder, and almost 2 wide at the mouth.
It has an ovoid shape with a collared rim. This gorgeous drip glaze is a matte rose color that is quite deep and rich in its shade -- almost mulberry.
The piece is very clean but believed to have been gently used. Check out all 8 photos! This stunning vase would look amazing in your favorite display cabinet. It would also be perfect for any Camark or American art pottery collector.
