Marblehead Pottery floral decorated vase Arts & Crafts matte gray & blue

  
Here is a very nice Marblehead Pottery decorated acorn shaped vase with a deeply incised leaf and berry design in two tones of blue against a matte gray ground. The interior is light blue. It measures 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs.

The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915. A fine piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
