Circa 1915's, this very nice example of undecorated Marblehead Pottery stands 9" tall x 5" wide. Hand thrown, it is glazed in a soft, smooth mottled brown and fully marked underbase with the die-stamped MP, ships and waves. A beautiful classic shape, it is in factory excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marblehead Pottery began as a small pottery shop founded by Herbert Hall and Arthur Baggs eventually became the owner.
