Here is a really nice Grueby Pottery vase with 5 well tooled leaves around the squat hand thrown form. It is covered in a curdled dark matte green glaze which thins over the high relief of the leaf edges. It measures 2 3/4 inches high and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest point.

It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just one little rough spot on a leaf edge. The glaze on the bottom has bubbled in the firing so the Grueby Pottery Boston USA die-stamp is not visible.
