Here is a beautiful Grueby Pottery leaf and bud two color vase with 5 well tooled leaves, vertical stems, and yellow buds at the rim of this classic bulbous bottom form. Covered with their famous curdled matte green glaze and sharp yellow buds with a little slippage to the green. It measures 6 3/8 inches tall and 4 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. There is minor roughness to the leaf edges but it's in otherwise great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA circular die-stamp and inscribed modeler's initials JE or possibly RE for Ruth Erickson.
