This would be a fine addition to a collection of American art pottery. Identification This authentic arts and crafts period Grueby pottery vase was made in Boston, Massachusetts. It is marked beneath, as shown, GRUEBY BOSTON MASS.
The exact age is not known; it is antique (circa early 20th century). Condition The vase looks very good overall, with no cracks. It has fine glaze crazing. There are two tiny glaze fleabites on the outer rim; both are shown at the upper left of Photo 8. There also is a small chip with on the bottom edge, as shown in Photos 6 and 7.
Also as made, there are some glazed-over indents and some thicker/thinner glaze areas. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
