Gorgeous Vintage Brush-McCoy Arts & Crafts Jardiniere Moderne KolorKraft Green

  
This beautiful bowl is unmarked except for its shape number, 260. It is also identified in the reference guide called. Sanford's Guide to Brush-McCoy Pottery, Book 1. By Martha and Steve Sanford as from Brush-McCoy's "Moderne" line which was produced initially at the end of the 1920's.

This arts-and-crafts design features beautiful stylized thistles in geometric panels that encircle the little pot. This gorgeous glaze is called "KolorKraft" and is a high-gloss green drip glaze. This little piece is in excellent condition with two shallow glaze flake slivers at the top rim and a few tiny fleabites in the glaze on the base. There are no chips, no cracks, light overall crazing, and no repairs.

The stilt marks from the kiln are also visible both inside and outside the piece. The bowl is 3-3/4" tall and 4-1/2" wide at the mouth. There appears to be mild staining inside from gentle use.
