Fulper Art Pottery Aladdin Oil Lamp & Rare Arts Crafts Design Metal Handle

  
Being offered is a Fulper art pottery Aladdin Lamp design vase, bowl, or lamp. The lamp is signed with the Fulper backstamp. This is a variation of the typical design lamp made by Fulper. Most of the Aladdin lamps had pottery handles but this one has an attached metal handle giving it a more arts and crafts, mission period design and style. These lamps with pottery handles sometimes came with lids making it look like a stylized teapot.

There are chips or nips around the outside edges of the lamp. These actual look like chips to the outer glaze surface and not to the actual clay body.

Many of these are smooth suggesting the glaze did not fully cover the surface from the firing. Either way, there are no other noted issues to the piece.
