Up for your consideration is a unique pair of matte green art pottery lamps, in the Arts & Crafts style, c. The lamps are unsigned, and an examination of the underside shows that these are not "converted" vases, but always intended to be lamp bases.
The finials are original, and made of carved wood that was painted green to match. The lamps have all their original parts, but the cords are badly frayed, and will need to be replaced. Overall, the lamps are 17" tall from base to finial, and they are 9.5" tall to the top of the socket.
The pottery is 5 wide. The lamps are in very good condition, but will need to be rewired. The pottery is free of chips or cracks, but is dirty and shows light surface wear. One of the tips of the "ribs" by the base shows perhaps an insignificant glaze skip (see last photo). One of the metal bases shows a minor age crack (hard to detect). And the finials show some wear.
