Clifton Indian Ware Pottery Vase. No Clifton mark but does have shape mark which I can not read.

About 3" tall and 4" across. Fantastic example of Clifton Pottery. Fred Tschirner and William A. Long founded Clifton Art Pottery in 1905 in Newark, New Jersey. Initially, they produced pottery influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement.

They introduced another line in 1906-Indian Ware, modeled after southwestern Native American designs. Clifton only made art pottery from 1905 to 1911.
