Antique British Arts and Crafts Period art pottery vase decorated with blue and green with a fish on the front and back of the vase and dragon handles. Signed on the bottom CH Brannam Barum FB Rd 44561. Produced by Charles Hubert Brannam, Barnstable Pottery, Devin. Probably late 19th or early 20th century.
Has long curved crack extending off the rim around part of the neck with associated flakes and glaze lose, a large chip to the rim, and a smaller glaze flake to the rim. Also has some glazed over chips and some minor glaze wear to scale's on both dragons and two chips to one of the other dragon's scales. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle x 8 3/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
