Beautiful & Rare Rookwood Arts & Crafts Antique Pottery Vase by Kate Curry 1916

  

This is a beautiful and quite rare original 1916 Rookwood art pottery vase made by Kate Curry. It is in the arts & crafts style and has a very unusual design for Rookwood vase.

It is in absolutely perfect condition: no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no discolored glaze spots. On the bottom it shows that it is a vellum glaze and dated 1916. On the left of the logo is the signature of Kate Curry. The design is beautiful with blue, green, and brown flowers. It has a nice almost wispy soft colors that flow down towards the bottom.

It has the crackle in the glaze throughout the entire piece which is to be expected. The bottom is very clean and so is the interior. The vase measures 5.75" tall x approximately 3.75" in diameter at the widest. You do not see her pieces come up for sale very often.
