Bauer Style Ringware Pottery Green Arts Crafts Pottery Red-Brown Clay Vase

  

A nice looking Bauer style banded green glazed arts crafts vase. The clay on this piece is red-brown, have heard earlier Catalina Island pieces have brown color clay but i've only had white clay Catalina so have nothing to compare to. Glaze is a dusky green almost a bit grayish and what looks like very fine white speckle.

Believe this is a cast piece, as there is a seam line on bottom and there are no finger rings inside. Was also wondering if this could be non-California, like North Carolina or other east coast pottery - would be interested if anyone knows. In good vintage condition, with no cracks or damage - but a few tiny fleabites or pops to the rim. Some crazing throughout, body also has a few glaze pops and holes. 6 3/4" tall, 5 1/2" widest.
