We are delighted to offer this Arts and Crafts pottery jug, featuring light and dark green matte glaze, circa 1900. Composed of an ovoid body with a cylindrical neck and rim.
Beautifully arched handles are applied on either side of the body. It measures approximately 11" high x 8" diameter at the widest point. Once a common piece of pottery used daily in many kitchens, these earthenware jugs have become showcase pieces sought by designers and collectors. These beautiful vessels offer a depth of color and a touch of history with their rustic hues.
It is gently used with chips to the base. We appreciate your careful review of the photos as they tell so much more than we can articulate; and ask that you zoom in for a closer look at any and all condition issues. As always, we thank you for taking a moment to consider this piece.
