Small 4"T x 3.5"W cabinet vase in the Arts and Crafts. Style, likely from the early 20th Century. An unusual shade of red + purple to the glaze, with two drips from the attached handles at the top near the neck.
One is a dark red drip and the other a mix of the dark red + a pale robin's egg blue. Very nice fading away of the red colored glazes at the top of the neck and around the handles, as seen in our photos, shows through to the natural color of the clay.
Note that the interior of the vase is glazed the same color as the exterior. Markings on the bottom of the vase. But I was unable to discern the maker of this piece. The pictures showing the markings in white are talcum powder and was cleaned from the vase after photography. These 10 pictures are included as part of our description.Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Vases".
