This is a very smart Arts and Crafts beaten copper coal or log box with wrought iron handles and Ruskin Pottery cabochon cartouches. This piece was most likely made in Birmingham and then retailed through the Liberty & Co department store. It is unmarked and measures 47.5cm x 35.5cm x 31.5cm. Such a decorative and functional piece.
