Antique Teco Vase Green Matte Arts & Crafts Era Double Stamped
For your consideration is a vintage antique Teco vase. The vase is offered in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or crazing. This one stands approximately 6 tall. This vase is double stamped and legible to read. The first set of photos (red background) are indoor and show a more accurate version of the color, the photos on the (black background) are taken in sunlight and display a lighter version of the vase color, however show more detail of the finish. Please view photos for condition verification. Teco is the mark used on the art pottery line made by the American Terra Cotta and Ceramic Company of Terra Cotta and Chicago, Illinois. The company was an offshoot of the firm founded by William D.
It continued in production until 1922. Over 500 designs were made in a variety of colors, shapes, and glazes.
The company closed in 1930. The name Teco comes from the "te" in terra and "co" in cotta.
